The instruments are pushed to the top of their range and call for some technically challenging, yet lyrical playing in the upper registers of the Viola and Cello. Uses some minor extended techniques in small passages, with some sections calling for col legno and sul tasto playing. The piece is approximately 12 - 15 minutes in length, includes a complete score and parts. .
