  • March 13, 2007 A Great Beginning Book

My 11-year old son has been taking group band lessons for 5 months. He was getting bored, so I started looking for new material to keep him interested. I purchased a Pirates of the Caribbean book, but it was too difficult for him. I came across this book and...

snatched it up. My son loves it! Because he is familiar with so many of the songs, he knows what they are supposed to sound like. The first time he played from the book I recognized what he was playing! He has a renewed excitement for the saxophone and has requested private lessons. Yeah!

  • August 12, 2006 A Pretty Good Book

I first got this book when I first started playing the alto sax. At first it was challenging, but after one year or so, it got a bit boring. So I recommend it to players who are just starting to play. It will help you improve and it is fun...

    to play.
