    Louisville, KY
    Difficulty Level:
  • May 14, 2015 Excellent beginner's songbook for Lowery Organ

Complaining that the notes are too big or that the note letters are printed inside the notes themselves are like complaining about buying a Fire Truck because it's red. The FEATURE CHARACTERISTIC of EZ-Play Today songbooks is that they have large notes with the note designation printed inside...

each note, and a color coded chord selection at the top (to coincide with Lowery's on-instrument color scheme). Because you're unfamiliar with EZ-Play Today characteristics, don't blame them for being consistent. This is how ALL their songbooks are written and EXACTLY the reason that beginners such as myself appreciate them so much.

    Difficulty Level:
  • February 09, 2007 HATE those huge notes!

I was extremely disappointed that the notes are huge and the note names are written inside the notes. This is a horrible distraction and develops a nasty crutch for those learning their notes. The chording isn't bad and it's a terrific resource for the songs, but if I...

had known it was written this way I would never have bought it.
