Opera duet for Soprano and Alto from the 21st century opera "The Hero and Damned" in English Music by American composer James Nathaniel Holland composer

Based on the Greek myth of Perseus and Medusa we see the introductory duet of Eurayle and her sister Stheno, both sisters to Medusa, but in a time when the three were young and beautiful and serving the goddess Athena. The two lament their fate of never finding love, of never being able to pursue their dreams or perhaps raising a family.
