  • 2009-05-08 00:00:00.0 Awesome Bass Part!!

Im the principal bassist in my high school orchestra and I really fell in love with Atwells contemporary style. The bass part in this piece is fenominal. I strongly recommend this to any intermidiate players or anyone who wants to play a great sounding arrangement.

  • 2009-01-16 00:00:00.0 One of my favorites!

Like the other reviewers, my High School orchestra played this. We looked forward to the end of class not so that we could leave, but simply because our awesome conductor let us end class with this piece. It's just one of those compositions that slowly builds energy and emotion...

with every passing measure. Our audience loved it, and we loved it even more. I have a big smile on my face as I reminisce of the fun we had playing this piece with a full string orchestra. A must have for any group of string players.

My orchestra also played this. Our music conductor's interpretation was beautiful; he added some crescendos, and decrescendos where needed, and I even got a solo part! This piece is amazing, and the first time you play it you will love it.

  • 2001-09-15 00:00:00.0 played personally in middle school

My middle schol orchestra fell in love with this song. It wasn't necessarily easy to us, there was shifting in 5th-6th position on some parts, but it's a great song. =)
