This Divertimento is a four movement suite for B-flat Clarinet Quartet (SSSB) commissioned by the Sunshine Quartet of Orlando, Florida. The movements, I. Appassionata, II. Giocoso, III. Tranquillo, and IV. Scherzando embody a variety of styles from Romantic to 21st Century, and incorporate such elements as, Chromaticism, Asymmetric Meter, Theme and Variations, and Imitative Counterpoint. The attached recording and video link are of a stellar performance by the commissioning ensemble which projects brilliantly the work's warmth, complexity, and humor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj2Mn0gsoRM
