    this is a beautiful song and very easy to sing. our choir is only about 10 people max. the piano accompaniment seems simple enough and the singing is easy, except for the high F throughout.

    Music written by or arranged by John Rutter are favourites with our choir so they were delighted to get a new piece of his to learn. Many of our members don't read music but this was easy to learn and there was instant success with the notes. Another favourite...

    Our community choir, meeting under the U3A umbrella, consists of an enthusiastic mixed group of 43 members. We live in a small coastal community in NSW, Australia. Not all read music. Singers are enjoying learning Distant Land, and we plan to share this song with the community at our concert...

    later in the year. It is not as challenging as some of John Rutter's compositions, but the sentiment expressed is very much appreciated by each of us.
