In fact this is a compilation of some old and mostly forgotten compositions from the Dixieland- and Vaudeville period linked to an attempt to introduce the outstanding pianoplayer and singer of beautiful jazz ballads Diana Krall to a musical world which is really not hers. The music in the book...

is well written and the rather easy chords above the melody line are well chosen and mostly correct. I should say interesting stuff for musicians who like to play and sing revival music in a rather simple Vaudeville style. Being myself an experienced pianoplayer and admirer of Diana Krall I admit that I keep this book in my music library in case that somebody asks me to join a Dixieland band for a one night stand, but not for a longer period!
