Composed by Marion Maby. 20th Century,Children,Instructional,Standards. Score and parts. 10 pages. M. Maby, arr. #41779. Published by M. Maby, arr. (A0.726646).

Desert Echoes is an engaging piece designed for teaching the elements (and fun) of chamber music to young players. For beginning piano trio (piano, violin, cello), the music depicts being lost in a canyon (1st mvmt.) and then being rescued (2nd mvmt.) by people (cowboys? Indians?) on horseback. Melodies and motifs are dovetailed among the instruments. The piano part is playable by small hands and readable by beginner level pianists. Mvmt. I is under 2 minutes. Mvmt. II is 1.2 minutes.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
