I love this book. Perfect for me to sit down and begin to play. It holds many great selections. Any time you have another list from the 50s I would be very interested.

Great piano book for me. Just started piano at 64, helps my learning to read music along with bringing back some great memories!

Fun book but, I think some of the other popular songs back then would have been a better choice in the book. A lot of fun though! I love the Decade by Decade 1960's book even better.

  • September 19, 2008 Great arrangements!

As always, Dan Coates great arrangements sound more difficult than they are - and late beginner adults will love the selections.

I have been taking lessons for a year. I am 76 years old. The songs require some practice and are tough to get right but easily playable for one with some instruction. My teacher is going to have her supplier order the book to use for her students.
