DADGAD is rapidly gaining acceptance as the "other standard tuning". Tune your guitar to it and find out why! This book is intended for guitarists who want to explore the D-A-D-G-A-D tuning, but feel a need for more guidance than their ears alone can provide. The majority of these selections are traditional Irish dance tunes, airs and songs. Accessible to musicians with at least an intermediate knowledge of guitar technique. In tablature and notation.

This book is clearly one of the better DADGAD books out there. Arrangements are challenging but playable for most intermeidate level students; yet, all the arrangements can stand up in a live performance on any stage.

This is a very interesting, informative book for anyone who wants to explore the enchanting musical possibilities of DADGAD tuning. There are some lovely traditional songs in this book as well as a few of the author's own compositions. My personal favorites are "Si Beag, Si Mor", "Tall Man...

of the Wood", and "Coquelicot Waltz".

I buy lots of instructional books. This is great stuff. Lots of Irish-Celtic songs with hammer-ons/pull-offs and arrangements that are accessible to intermediate players. The CD alone is worth the price!
