D ung aultre amer (4 settings c 1500) - 3 scores composed by Johannes Ockeghem (1410-1497). For ATB viols; or ATB instruments. String Trios, Miscellaneous Music. Early Music Library. Level 4 - Difficult. 3 Scores. Published by London Pro Musica (MM.EML0359).

Ockeghems D ung aultre amer was one of a select list of pieces favored by Franco-Flemish musicians c. 1500 for instrumental reworkings. The original rondeau can be found in an earlier title in this series (EML 341). Altogether 17 arrangements of Ockeghems famous piece have survived (excluding masses), including some by composers as distinguished as Alexander Agricola and Pierre de la Rue. In some of these settings D ung aultre amer is combined with other current melodies, such as Lhomme arme or Cela sans plus.
