Composed by George Job Elvey. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Christian,Sacred,Easter. Score,Set of Parts. 12 pages. Published by Sharon Wilson (S0.43279).

This bold one-piano, four-hands duet arrangement of George J. Elvey's DIADEMATA tune begins in the key of C major with the PRIMO introducing a majestic theme that is repeated throughout. The SECONDO then brings out the melody as the piece progresses. After once through the complete melody, there is a 2-measure transition to the key of D major. The PRIMO then carries the melody while the SECONDO harmonizes using a modification of the majestic theme introduced by the PRIMO. Bold and energetic throughout, this piano duet is ideal for a processional or postlude. When associated with the lyrics by Matthew Bridges titled "Crown Him With Many Crowns," this piece is often used during the Easter season. Charles Wesley's text "Soldiers of Christ, Arise" are also frequently associated with this tune. The purchase price includes the 5 page combined score with PRIMO and SECONDO parts on each page plus the alternate format with the PRIMO and SECONDO on separate pages (3 pages each). Duration 2:00.
