  • August 10, 2007 Play it like Mayer - eventually

This is an excellent quality tab with very few errors, but don’t expect to create a smooth or flawless sound as John Mayer himself, because his music is harder to play than it sounds! Having said that, the tab is well laid out and with perseverance and practice, it...

is possible to make a reasonable job of sounding like this master musician. The tab is very faithful to the CD and worth it is worth having it to hand while you practice, so you can get the phrasing just right. The tab could have been improved by the addition of playing tips and techniques but other than that, there is little to fault this publication.

  • July 28, 2007 Damn he's good

I love trying to play Mayer's stuff. It seems more and more that I've been living his life as he's gone through his albums. This one speaks to me the best so far.

What can you say, John writes great music, as well as play great acoustic and electric. A must have for serious players.
