These are excellent arrangements that are easy to learn. My sister and I have done nearly all of them at our church. The individual parts are not fairly simple, but when put together have a nice full sound.

I love these arrangements. I get so many compliments on these pieces. This has been my favorite flute music for a long time. Purifoy really knows how to arrange for flute, and that makes a big difference.

This book is a must have for the church flute soloist! The arrangements blend with beautiful harmony as melody moves from flute to accompaniment. I have used both organ and piano accompanists for the songs - the organ often gives a richer, fuller accompaniment.

This flute book is my favorite one that I own. The arrangements are simple: the flute usually starts out with the melody, then the melody switches to the piano, and then back to the flute. I love these songs because the are not gaudy, but really draw out the meaning...

of the songs. They are perfect for a church service. The piano parts are also pretty and the two go well together. The songs are listed by hymn tune names. Favorites include Be Thou My Vision; How Great Thou Art; Holy, Holy, Holy; Amazing Grace; and O Come, O Come Emmanuel.
