Concerto No. 7 "Anniversary Concerto" for Piano and Orchestra (First Edition) by Alexander Peskanov (1953- ). For Piano and Orchestra(Flute/1 Oboe/1 Clarinet/1 Strings). Concerto No. 7 for Piano and Orchestra was inspired by the happy marriage of the composer's two friends, Judith and Murray Siegel, and reflects on their 50 years of life together. It is a beautiful journey presenting many different flavors and is reminiscent of old Hollywood movies. There are references to klezmer wedding music, "embracing both the ecstasy and the despair of human life." This concerto is influenced by the music of Gershwin and Dmitry Shostakovich.".
