  • November 13, 2007 A NICE ARRANGEMENT FOR THE ADVANCED

    I had hoped I would be able to play this piece as I have played other Rach, but I found it more for the advanced than the early advanced. The hands can get tangled up as they interplay and cross-over. I found the notes themselves easy enough to read...

    , but the technique to carry it out may prove move than this grandma will accomplish. Such beautiful music, too!!!

  • May 25, 2007 WATCH OUT!

    Grainger captures the essence of Rachmaninoff's masterpiece in a very faithful pianistic arrangment that mirriors the original more than it strays. Watch out for a very heavy left hand, overlaps, and rubuto of the opening bars...Very difficult piece! I'd highly recommend purchase of Rachmaninoff's original historical...
