    Difficulty Level:
  • December 22, 2010 Great Edition, wrong cover

The cover for this is misleading, it's a part of the "Piano Works of George Gershwin" series, with the orange/yellow cover with pictures of New York and George Gershwin on the cover. But unless your OCD about things like that, it doesn't matter. As to the edition...

itself, the printing is great, its very durable (I've been carting it around, using it almost daily for a year now, and it's still holding up). And the editing seems quality, though without other editions to compare too, its hard to say this with certainty (which is the sad state of affairs with a majority of Gershwin's work)

This concerto is great and very rewarding to learn. It's a nice way to expand one's repertoire in various directions other than mainstream classical concerti.
