This edition contains Dvorak's original piano part of the concerto, Kurz's butchered version, and a piano reduction of the orchestral part. The cover says "critical edition" but there are no comments, no introduction, no essay, and not even the name of the editor. It's just the music...

. The print is large and easy to read, and the paper is of good quality. It is useful to have Kurz's version for the purpose of seeing by oneself that it is worthless. It is not a simplification of a purportedly exceedingly difficult piano part. For the most part it copies Dvorak's. In many places it gives octaves where Dvorak wrote single notes, and chords where Dvorak wrote octaves. In the glorious Andante, where Dvorak wrote "pp sempre legato", Kurz wrote instead "pp poco express." It is the typical work of a pretentious mediocrity imagining it is improving the work of a master.
