  • April 11, 2012 great piece!

I did this piece on my junior recital and it worked out to be the audiences favorite piece. My group performed on period instruments but I'm sure it would work just as well on modern instruments. I play the horn, so I don't have much insight on how...

difficult the recorder and harpsichord parts are... but they seem to be pretty playable.

  • February 27, 2007 Fun, light piece. Not too hard

Alto recorder and French horn get to alternate the lead in the first movement. Recorder and continuo ground in the second. All three again in the third. Cello works well instead of keyboard for the ground. Harpsichord is even more perfecto. A light, happy work by Telemann. Good piece for...

challenging an intermediate recorder student to get up to tempo on fingerings.
