  • December 08, 2014 Get it spiral bound

5 stars for Schnabel. I got it spiral bound with clear plastic covers at kinko's right after I got it because I knew it was going to see a lot of use. Super satisfied as a result.

This is a big book. It's a little hard to keep the pages open. I've had it for two weeks and none of the pages have fallen, because I took very good care of it. Personally I don't use the fingering all the time but that's...

just for me. However it includes tips and shows you Beethoven's preferences.I recommend this book.

  • August 01, 2010 Great content, but....

This book is stuffed full with great, lucid Schnabel editorials, but the binding is terrible. Very quickly did my book fall apart, so now it is being held together crudely with glue and tape.

  • August 01, 2010 Great Book, but...

This edition is filled with valuable, lucid, classic Schnabel content. However, the physical condition of this book after very little use is quite poor. My book is now being held together crudely using glue, and scotch tape. If you find a Schnabel edition of anything, it is probably worth buying...

    - so long as it doesn't fall apart. :-)
