I bought a copy of this piece several years ago for my daughter to sing. It is a beautiful and very meaningful song. Recently I started taking voice and decided I would love to work on this song myself, but, because it moves around a lot, I really needed another...

copy for my teacher/accompanist. My first copy was perfect for an accompanist because it was a tri-fold. I gave my teacher the new one and was using the old one myself. I noticed she was having trouble and realized hers was not a tri-fold. I switched with her, but the music really does need to be tri-fold because looking back over three pages for the Coda is sure easier than trying to flip back and forth.

This is a good representation of the song. However, it is not in the same key as the original song. It is good for an intermediate player though. If you are looking for a better representation, get the pocahontas book.

  • September 20, 2007 LOVE this song!

A delightful arrangement, but a lot more syncopated than I had seen before, and that my soloist has. I was able to adjust, though.

I don't think I've heard Vanessa Williams actually sing this, but the sheet music for her version is beautiful. The layout is a bit frustrating, though, because you have to flip back and forth.

  • June 17, 2006 Absolutely wonderful!!!

My daughter played it for a concert at her piano school, and it was the most beautiful piece she played so far. The sound was so full and the way she played with the dynamics was awesome. To me, this is the best Disney song piece a pro should by...

. It took my daughter many months to get all the notes and dynamics down with her teacher, but it was worth it. Don't give up on the first day playing it, because it is hard. BUY BUY!
