    Two part wispy moments alternate with blocks of notes - dissonant? challenging? lovely? all of the above? Modern harmonies - Hindemithian stacks of fourths. Just what I was looking for.

    This book should never have been published. It has arrangements that are authentically professional. That is bad enough; the guy did that once before. But this time he went farther and made a companion CD that demonstrates exactly how to play them with professional expression. How is a guy to...

    these pieces have nice subtle jazz/blues sounds, and having the cd to refer to makes them even more enjoyable. music is well-chosen, all familiar and all beautiful arrangments. relax and enjoy playing these!

    I have both books offered on this site. They are "tricky" in parts but generally for an late intermediate to Advanced player are relaxing to play. Listeners love them and think they are more difficult than they are for the player. I really would like to see more and perhaps...
