This instrumental arrangement of Coldplay’s Clocks is agreat hit in live performances as many people recognize the song. It stands outamongst flowing melodic pieces because it’s strident and rhythmic in nature,and shows a different side to the harp. This piece is quite syncopated and takessome practice to become confident, so don’t be discouraged at first! Once you’vemastered the first few bars you’re halfway there; it has the same patternsthroughout the piece. The arranger strongly advises you to memorize thispiece because it makes it so much easier to play fluently! Don’t worry, it’squite repetitive and not difficult to memorise :)
There are some tenths in the left hand, which you can easily adapt to octaves if necessary, and further simplify by playing only the bottom note.
