Its not exactly what I expected, but the quality of the recordings is good. What works good is that the parts are separated left and right speaker.. I was expecting more pieces, but its okay. There is about 42 minutes worth of music. My only complaint is that the transcriptions...

are not very well written. Maybe its the font, but there are parts that are a bit hard to read. It has a duet version of Malaguena-Isaac Albeniz, but its not complete. Its is missing the "Copla." I would have really liked to have that part. I love the Spanish pieces that are included, Spanish Dance No. 2, and Spanish Dance No.5 by Enrique Grandos. Music Minus One has some great products. If you play in ensembles (string quartet), I really recommend the Luigi Boccherini Quintet in D Major (Fandango). It is a fantastic piece. The parts are divided up with and wthout guitar and with and without string quartet.

Unable to find duet partners? This product fills that gap very well. The performers both have credentials listed in short biographies, lending credibility to this product. The performances and the production itself are top quality. One minor complaint is that when shifting the balance to one side, the part being...

silenced is still slightly audible. The musical notation is beautifully handwritten, and legible, however there are a few very rare instances in which the notes are bunched too close, and hard to read. The score and CD are of high quality, particularly the score itself. There are 14 duets in all, and a 15th track with tuning references. I would recommend this to those of intermediate-advanced level that wish to play duets without a live partner. Despite minor flaws, I gave this product 5 stars because it does quite well what it intends to do, which is to substitute as a duet partner.
