Clarinet Concerto in A, KV622 composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791). For solo clarinet in B-flat (or A) and orchestra. Classical Period and Play Along. Sheet music and accompaniment CD. 38 pages. Published by Music Minus One (MO.MMOCD3238).

ISBN 1596152656. Classical Period and Play Along. 9x12 inches.

Mozart did not make extensive use of the clarinet until comparatively late in his career, but he wrote exquisitely for the instrument, and the two scores dedicated to his friend, Anton Stadler-the Quintet, KV581 and the Concerto, KV622-are among his most Conductor: Nayden Todorov. Soloist: Denitza Lavchieva, clarinet. Ensemble: Tempi Concertati Chamber Orchestra.Includes a high-quality printed music score (featuring both A and B-flat clarinet parts) on ivory paper; a compact disc featuring the complete concerto in digital stereo, followed by the concerto performed again, but minus you, the soloist (DDD).

This is a beautiful piece wonderfully put together in a concise and durable package. The CD is awesome to play along with or as piece to listen to. I have been playing the Adagio for years and was thrilled to find this piece It is rare to find any classical...

music written for the clarinet. I heard John Manassee play this concerto with the Rogue Valley Symphony last year and was enthralled. Now I can play it as well!

It is a high quality printing on durable paper accompanied with high quality recordings. I have loaded them to my Ipod for a more mobile experience and enjoy listening to and reading the entire concerto! I am new to music and have just picked up my daugther's old clarinet...

, therefore, I expect it will take some time just to play the second movement. I honestly don't expect to play the entire piece.

My teacher suggested I purchase this piece. She says all clarinetists need to play it. It is one of the best pieces ever written for the clarinet. I love it. I have learned the 2nd Movement and am looking forward to successfully playing the 1st and 3rd movements.
