  • December 02, 2014 Excellent arrangements of Christmas favorites

As other reviewers have noted, these are well-balanced, very pleasant arrangements. I'm the violist in our quartet, and the viola parts are interesting and violistically appropriate (unlike some, this arranger doesn't forget we have a C string!). Highly recommended.

Easy yet sophisticated arrangements. The best sheet music for intermediate level quartet to be found on the internet. These arrangements give each instrument a chance to shine.

  • December 29, 2012 Great sounding but not quite for strings

My daughter's string quartet played this. The arrangements are lovely! The only odd thing is that some of the parts seem to not be written for strings. They have some awkward string crossings that a composer that plays violin would not write. I am not sure if this was...

transcribed from another instrument, but my daughter mentioned this to me. As a listener, I thought the arrangements were fantastic, though. Lots of variety and very enjoyable!

Interesting arrangements with a nice distribution among parts. Our quartet will use this as a welcomed addition to our holiday collection.

Three of my friends and I started a string quartet last year and these pieces are very accessible and, I think, easy to play. They are part of our Christmas repertoire.
