Despite the name (and despite the fact that it's a show tune, not written for church) "Christmas Lullaby" can be a lovely & moving meditation hymn for Advent, well paired with the Gospel reading of the Anunciation. It can be seen as an updated version of the Magnificat: the singer...

reflects that while she's not a powerful person, she carries "heaven's grand design" and "the future of the world inside of me." The song has a moderate range (an octave plus a third, with the lowest note Middle C). As a fairly experienced amateur soprano with some vocal training, I found it vocally easy but rhythmically difficult, because the same words must be sung to different rhythms. It's definitely a solo: I would not recommend trying to have a group sing it because of the tricky rhythms.
