  • January 12, 2012 Unusual and beautifully atmospheric

This book is a brilliant discovery - it includes many well-known carols but in a very ethereal, impressionistic style. Haven't ever come across a Christmas book like it. One of my friends said it was the most beautiful music she'd heard all Christmas. I plan to make it...

a key part of my Christmas soundtrack in the years to come....I would recommend it to anyone who likes Einaudi or Yann Tiersen.

One of my favorite Christmas books, and I have many! Some nice choices to play at church. Geared for an advanced intermediate player due to some of the rhythmic challenges in some selections.

  • June 27, 2011 Wonderful

you away to a peaceful Christmas wonderland. I also highly recommend the audio CD.

  • December 10, 2009 Beautiful

Wonderful arrangements. 'What Child is This' arrangement is one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces I've ever played. I've lost many hours from my day job playing it. 'The First Noel' is another great one. I'm not crazy about all the pieces, but these two and 'Joy...
