I was pleasantly surprised when I played through the duets in this collection for the first time. From the proclamation of "easy duets" I was expecting boring, hurriedly arranged duets that wouldn't be much fun to play or listen to. Instead I found the arrangements, while relatively easy, to...

be engaging and fun. The melodies are often shared between both parts, and the non-melody parts are anything but boring. I would highly recommend this work to brass players from 8th grade upward (even to adults who just want a fun Christmas duet book for the season - I actually used them as background music for a lunch and they went over quite well). These are around a "Grade 3" for as far as difficulty goes. The range goes up to a high F, though only on some pieces, so you need a fairly decent range (not for beginners). Rhythms are fairly straightforward throughout.
