I really like this book, and so did my student. Nice to find something with pieces written specifically for the Hammer Dulcimer.

I am enjoying the tunes contained in this collection. They are familiar, and well constructed. The format leaves room for performance embellishments, and should satisfy other HD players looking for a set of Christmas tunes. Well done....Thank you

I'm just starting to teach myself to play the hammered dulcimer, and this book is exactly what I need for my skill level. Simple arrangements of familiar carols, so I can tell by ear whether I am playing correctly or not.

I am a beginner just finishing my "Teach Yourself to Play Dulcimer" book, and ready to travel forward. This is a great way to get started outside the realm of a "teach yourself" book because so many of the tunes are recognizable, if not familiar. The arrangements are sometimes surprising...

at first attempt, but often show themselves to be simply gorgeous (if actually only mildly daring) after some focused attention and repetition. I got mine in a few days, and am looking forward to next year's holiday season. And I'm not even a Christian
