  • December 17, 2012 Odd Arrangements

This has many classic Christmas songs with very non-classic arrangements. There were some strange chords in every song and I did not like the way any of the songs sounded. I returned the product - there are other much better Christmas books out there.

I bought this book based on the rave reviews and was a bit disappointed because most of the arrangements were nice but not great. "The First Noel", "Oh Come, Oh Come Emanuel" and "Away in the Manger" are very nice arrangements, so if you are looking for decent arrangements of...

these songs then it would be a good choice. If you are looking for an excellent arrangement of "Silent Night", this is not the book you are looking for. Some of the arrangements are awkward and a little frustrating to play at first. "A Celtic Christmas" in the Phillip Keveren series remains my favorite Christmas piano book.

  • April 07, 2008 Old favorites with a nice twist

Eugenie Rocherolle does a very interesting job with our old favorite carols. Collection is great for page turning background music or sing-a-long carols. Have enjoyed these for many years and have given as gifts to other piano playing friends.

This compliation is a great product. It has many songs that are great arangements of classic Christmans songs. They are sophisticated versions that everyone will love. I played from this book when ten years ago and was excited to see that it was still in print. Now I don't...

have to keep borrowing my mother's copy.

I bought this book when I was in high school several years ago and still use this book every year to play for Christmas. Everyone tells me how much they love the arrangement of "O Holy Night." Great Buy!
