This innovative Yasinitsky original showcases trombone soloist throughout. The prevailing ballad style switches to double time swing during the main solo chorus for a refreshing change of pace, and harmonies feature the chord extensions normally found in more advanced charts. Though he provides written solo lines to conform with the requirements of our Konvertibles series, in his score notes Greg urges directors to encourage young soloists to try improvisation. A guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson is also included with every set.
