  • December 14, 2014 Strange accompaniment to familiar songs

    Exactly right for students at this level, but most of the songs have sections that sound dissonant or just plain wrong. There are unexpected minor chords and transitions and because it occurs in almost every song, I assume it is intentional. This is not evident from the one page viewable...

    in this book (but it would be if you could see the second page of Jingle Bells). So, good for learning the piano but you might prefer more traditional and familiar sounding versions of these carols.
