I play duets several times a season for various christmas events and seem to always include this duet. It sounds impressive and is always a crowd pleaser. While technically not hard I do agree with some of the other reviews. You do need to practice the timing.

My friend and I had to get something quick for Christmas, and I found this. It is a lot of fun. We didn't have to work on it very long (it's not very hard, I could sight read right through it!) When we played it we got so...

many compliments! It sounds wonderful and dramatic! I love the finish! I would really recommend this piece!

  • December 17, 2008 Excellent Exciting Arrangement

This is a fun-tastic little selection that works well in a variety of settings - We've used it in church services and piano recitals. Although not overly difficult, you certainly need to have all your wits about you in terms of timing in a few places, and the person...

playing the upper registers has to deal with several passages that use a lot of ledger lines & 8va. The dynamics are lovely, as is the rhythym, momentum and harmony - and it all comes together with a dramatic finish. This arrangement would be worth every penny at three times the price - I definitely recommend it.

  • April 08, 2008 Lots of fun!

Vandall duet shares the melody between both pianists -- although the piece isn't technically difficult, it sounds challenging to an entertained audience.

  • January 02, 2008 Best arrangment out there!!!

This piece is amazing. Both duet parts are quite easy, yet when performed together it sounds quite difficult. I have received many compliments after performing this piece. It's a fun piece to play and to listen to. It's definitly an arrangment like you've never heard before.
