This arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon in D starts with a familiar 8-note long bass line in cello part, but then quickly morphs into a snappy "pop song" with its groovy accompaniment, syncopations and special sound effects. While retaining the original harmony and many of the melodic variations, this arrangement is build on a pop song form, complete with the introduction, several "verses" and "choruses", making it sound modern and fresh. This Canon in Pop Style is sure to bring smiles to the faces of performers and listeners alike!
