Looking for an intermediate-level, tasteful arrangement of the popular Pachabel Canon in D? Here's your answer. Tucker has arranged this famous melody with weddings in mind. Nice arrangement for a wedding. I've used this as the processional for parents and bridesmaids. This simple arrangement made it easy to watch the processional for timing.

I am just coming back from a wedding ceremony in my church where I played this Canon as part of the wedding music. I find it very useful, easy to play and it sounds impressive. Since I bought it only a few months ago, I have used it numerous times...

, during general church services as background music, as entrance music for brides who request this particular piece, or as music before the wedding service, for which I used it today.

I am using this number to teach my granddaughter some fundamentals of organ playing. The pedal part repeats the same eight measures throughout. The manuals have the hard part, so it's ideal for a "transition" student.

  • October 02, 2007 A back-up for our 12-year old church organist

The name of our organist is Amadeus like Amadeus Mozart. He gains prizes for piano playing of Chopin music. His father is also musician and want his son become famous. I wanted to enrich his playing in our church and purchase sheet music Canon in D, what I like greatly...

. In my opinion the subscription was a simple one and short, therefore the boy had to go back using some improvisation. I intended to buy Toccata and Fugue in D minor as a next step, but Cannon in D did not excite him much and I wait for a chance to talk to him. However, I informed a friend of mine, who is cellist, and he also enjoyed your web site.
