ISBN 0757933890.

Like the mist off the moors, a peaceful, quiet solo baritone/euphonium begins our journey to the land of castles and kilts. Robert W. Smith's recent visit to the British Isles was the catalyst and the inspiration for this true musical celebration, complete with magnificent ethnic underpinnings, textures, colors and sensational percussion. Mr. Smith's high sense of drama has never been better expressed. This is theater for the ears! (duration 4:45) This title is available in SmartMusic.

This is probably one of the best song's I've ever played. The euphonium part is breathtaking, and Robert W. Smith fails to dissapoint with this masterpeice.

  • March 24, 2007 It's breathtaking!

This piece is just amazing. Especially when you have great people playing the piece. We did this for our high school Kiwanis Festival and won first. It's definitely a WOW. The percussion balances with the winds and the brass. It's magnificent!!

This was the first solo that I ever played. It is a beautful piece and all young euphonists should get a chance to play it

  • January 09, 2006 Wonderful, Beautiful, Folk-Like Song

This is by far my favorite song by Robert Smith. It starts off slow with a soothing baritone solo. Then it sounds like a song for a valor like movie. Then, it changes to a Irish like folk song and remains that way for the rest of the song. At...

the end, it gets extremely intense like you are running against time, but you finally make it. It's a very phenomenal piece of work.
