Published by Austin Ralphson (H0.128627-98640).This is one of the most well-known songs from Les Miserables, and was written specifically for the voice of Colm Wilkinson, who played the original Jean Valjean in the West End and on Broadway. It is an extremely moving melody and I have arranged it here for solo trombone with accompaniment. The simple, supportive arrangement of the supporting parts allows the trombone to be as expressive as possible. This is a lovely slow-melody solo for a good player, with the highest note being the final high A flat.
