The transcription is fairly accurate; the music speaks for itself. I've been playing for over 40 years with a taste for "Strat" players Like Hendrix, SRV and Trower. I believe guitarists would enjoy this book; I recommend playing the CD with the book. As I state in all of...

my reviews, the ability to read music maximizes the benefits of this book. I use a Microvibe and WAH pedals to simulate the tone. I seem to recollect that the book has direction when Trower downtunes a half-step, which is another step toward great tone. For those who like this book would probably enjoy "Are You Experienced" by Jimi Hendrix, but buy the "Score" version then you get to see what all of the instruments are doing to effect timing.
