very basic, the tunes are generic and someone's made up stuff they just wanted a fast buck on. we sax players would prefer to play real tunes that were popular at one time and everyone has heard of or played, not someone's rambling they wanted to just make...

and quickly get money on it. There is no arrangement or variety of instrumentation to it. it is all done in same lay out song after song. it is just improve and rambling for the player. I would not perform this for anyone.

Being a trumpet player, I found this album to be next to worthless. I guess it's OK for an alto or tenor sax, but I cannot fathom why this album was listed under the trumpet section.

The printed score consists of no more than a few bars for each song - everything else is entirely improv. Having said that, there's nothing wrong with the music - but if you're this advanced, you should probably be in a real band jamming live.
