I purchased the Blues/Rock Piano set to flesh out the details of my Homespun 3-VHS (video tape set) of the same material which does not include notation. I've played piano off and off over many years and I dusted off the VHS version (which is now out...

in DVD) to help get me back up to speed. (David Cohen mentioned on the video that the CD set had notation and so I purchased it.) However, I enjoy David Cohen's material -- I also have his Ragtime CD and will buy vol. 3 & 4 of his blue DVDs set in the near future -- but as he mentions at least once, this material is not for a beginner. And if you once took lessons -- maybe a few years -- this material will help bring it all back for you. But if you are just starting out and aren't sure where Middle C is (or WHAT it is) and can't play basic two-handed piano you're going to have trouble.
