Excellent guide to the "Blues" from the great Adolph Sandole. Would like to obtain more musical interprtations from the pen of Mr. Sandole. They are hard to come by.

Grab anything by Adolph that you can get your hands on. This man is one of the unsung heroes in Jazz. His teachings have shaped Moody, Coltrane, La Porta and countless others. I had the honor of being one his students and wish more people follwed his teachings.

buy anything that Adolph has out. His craft o fJazz books are the best...most people don;t know about him or his brother Dennis, they are the guys responsible for Moody, Coltrane and countless others. I studied with Adolph in NYC in the late 70's, he changed my...

life, and put up with my drunkeness and bs. His studies make you create your own style. You are taught to play in every key, to compose, and to sing, and to play piano. His ears where so sharp that after my first lesson with him, he could tell that I had wrote out the final four keys, instead of using my ears.
