Instrumental Duet Dulcimer,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.509657

By Linda Ronstadt. By Joe Melson and Roy Orbison. Arranged by Larry & Elaine Conger. Rock. Score and parts. 4 pages. Larry Conger/Dulcimerican Music #3057227. Published by Larry Conger/Dulcimerican Music (A0.509657).

Written and recorded by Roy Orbison in 1963, this tune also became a hit for Linda Ronstadt in 1977.  It is arranged for two dulcimers in DAD tuning by Larry and Elaine Conger.  The melody part, played on a standard dulcimer, can stand alone as a solo.  The optional second part is the bass line.  This part is best performed on a bass dulcimer.  However, it can also be played on a second, standard dulcimer.  Both parts will require a 1+ fret.

It's syncopated rhythms will make it mildly challenging for the intermediate level player. The song's familiarity will help with learning it.

Tablature, lyrics and guitar chords are included.
