Blessed be God, Eternal One, Father of a glorious Son,
whose adundant mercy hath begotten us to hope again.
Lively hope to live with Him, through the pure Lamb who was slain.
Christ, our loving Savior brings salvation to our souls.

An inheritance is sure, saved in heaven clean and pure,
One that fadeth not away, reserved for those who know His way.
Oh how greatly we rejoice, e'en through trial and remorse.
Heavily temptations grind, but only for a time.

Trials of our faith unfold, precious even more than gold.
Tried with fire, honor won, when He appears, the blessed Son.
Though not seen, yet dearly loved, glory be to God above.
Joys unspeakable He'll bring, give glory to the King.
