A great piece to pull out. Not too much work required to pull it off. Defiantly recommended to anybody looking for a good postlude or recessional.

I love using this piece as a postlude on days when the Bishop is visiting our parish. It's almost salon music, but not vapid or sugary; it is a real period piece from Coke-Jephcott's time as organist of the Cathedral of St John the Divine, NYC (1932...

-53). [...] Fun, fluff ... just what every Bishop needs for promenading down the aisle.

"Bishops' Promenade" by Coke-Jephcott, former Music Director/Organist at Saint John the Divine, New York City, is a trumpet-tune-like organ work that is very practical for postludes, special services, and weddings. Every church organist would find this very useful to have.
