I'm a relatively advanced player that found this book very helpful. The lessons are short and sweet. Each one focuses on a relevant topic without being overwhelming. At the end of each chapter all the lessons are combined into an exciting blues arrangement that you can proudly show-off...

to your friends. I'm almost done with the book and I already have a much better understanding of acoustic blues than when I started. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the blues. Not bad for a book I bought on sale as an impulse buy. I haven't even cracked open the CD, yet!

Acoustic blues that sounds good and feels good. Of all my instructional titles, this is the one I keep going back to. The fun I have doing some to Kieth's stuff in this book reminds me of why I bother in the first place. Challenging enough to be interesting...

, easy enough to be able to get it, sounds great, and gives insight into the nature of the music. What more could you want. A great book and CD.
