  • January 28, 2008 Excellent insights into mind of Wes Montgomery

An excellent series of transcriptions and compilations for some of Wes's best work. The written analysis of the overall form of the solos is also well done. The playing on the CD sounds a bit clunky from the perspective of a Jazz ensemble, although it accomplishes the goal of...

a simplified presentation of the solos. Highly recommended.

  • July 23, 2002 A must have for all Jazz Guitar Players!

Extremely informative! Very thorough outline of Wes Montgomery's guitar style. You will want to play this book from cover-to-cover. The CD that is included in this package is the perfect supplement and great to just listen to.
