Bavarian Dance (from Three Bavarian Dances) composed by Edward Elgar (1857-1934). Arranged by Carlo Martelli. For 2 violins, viola, cello. Classic String Quartet Collection. Set of parts. Published by Broadbent & Dunn (PR.514035180).

A wonderful addition to Broadbent and Dunn's Classic String Quartet Collection, Edward Elgar's Bavarian Dance from Three Bavarian Dances is a string quartet adaptation of the first of three choral pieces written during a German vacation once taken by the composer and his wife. The original version was composed for harmonium and four-part chorus, but Elgar later orchestrated all three works under the title Three Bavarian Dances. Dance is the first of the Bavarian trilogy and is also the most radiant and energetic. Expertly arranged by versatile veteran composer and arranger Carlo Martelli.
