This is a fine selection of music, and nothing wrong with the arrangements...but the backing tracks were produced by synthesizer. Sheet Music Plus actually gives you the chance to hear for yourself, so click "Listen" and see if the artifice is something you can live with...me, I couldn...

't imagine using these recordings in performance or practice.

I purchased the book and CD to accomodate a bride who wanted a violinist to play the Pachelbel Canon--go figure. But now I have all the needed players! Caution! Judge for yourself whether the tempi on some of these pieces is very fast. I'm an experienced performer, so...

the issue is not speed but personal taste. For example, the hot-dogger version of "Entrance of the Queen of Sheba" makes me twitch. I also felt that the one-person performance of the Bach Concerto for Two Violins jumped back and forth between parts and skipped notes in important entrances.
